What video conferencing tools does Parrot AI work with?

Parrot AI can attend, record and transcribe meetings for Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams and Webex. Parrot AI also works with any video conferencing platform that can export a meeting as an MP4 or other popular video file formats. Just drag the recording into Parrot AI. Parrot also supports auto-uploading of recorded meetings in Zoom, Microsoft Teams and Webex. If there is a particular third-party tool that you like but that is not currently supported, please use the "Give Feedback" feature in the product to submit a ticket.

Do you have an app? What platforms are you on?

We are a web app that is available at app.parrot.ai for Desktop, Mobile, and Tablet internet browsers.

What browsers work best with Parrot AI?

Parrot AI works best in recent versions of Chrome and Firefox.

How do I export my transcript/video/audio?

The easiest way to share a transcript and recording is by sharing the page you’re on with others! You may also copy page and transcript sections to your clipboard and paste the selection to another application. But, if you want to export your video recording and transcript as files, we support that.

In the top right corner of the embedded video you’d like to export, simply click the "Download" icon. You can export the video as an MP4 file, and export the transcript in Docx, Markdown or PDF formats.

We also support exporting Parrot pages to Confluence and monday.com. These options are found by clicking on the ellipsis (three dots) in the top right corner of the page. Note that exporting a page in this manner will export the contents of the page but not the videos themselves.

How do I share a page/recording?

The "Share" button allows you to share with others and give different access permissions to pages and recordings.

How long before my recording is available? 

Time to availability depends on a few factors including the speed of your internet connection and the type, size and length of the recording. For a 30-minute meeting, it should be available within 10 minutes of when the meeting ends and the upload starts.

What integrations are available for Parrot AI?

We integrate with many of the tools you already use such as Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Google Meet, Webex, Google Calendar, Outlook Calendar, Webex, HubSpot, Jira, Confluence, Slack and monday.com. For a full list please check out our Integrations page.

What languages do you support?

Parrot AI supports transcription of over 100 languages in addition to English including Arabic, Chinese (Simplified and Traditional), Dutch, French, German, Japanese, Portuguese and Spanish. You can select additional languages in the Settings Page.

Parrot also supports over 35 languages for AI-generated responses.

If there is a particular language that you would like but that is not supported please use the "Give Feedback" feature in the product to submit a ticket.

I invited the Parrot AI Meeting Assistant, but it didn’t join the meeting. Why not?

There are a number of reasons why the Meeting Assistant might not be able to join meetings. Here’s a few of them:

  1. Our Meeting Assistant supports Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Google Meet and Webex. If you are using another conferencing platform, then it won’t work.
  2. The meeting has the “Require authentication to join” setting turned on. The Meeting Assistant won’t be able to join if this is turned on.
  3. The meeting has “Waiting Room” turned on. If this is the case, you or the meeting host need to admit the Parrot AI Meeting Assistant into the meeting.

If none of these are the case, let us know by filing a Support ticket!

When do you upgrade your system?

We generally upgrade Parrot AI every Wednesday night at 9:00 PM East Coast US (21:00 EST/EDT). You shouldn’t notice any disruption unless we run into unexpected DevOps turbulence, which we would address immediately.

How do I delete my account?

Under user settings, use the 'delete account' capability.

How do I reset my password?

On the login page, select 'Forgot Password' and follow the steps.

Security & Privacy

Who has access to my workspace?

Your workspace is private to you and your team. Only workspace members can see what’s in there. This applies to most employees of Parrot AI, too. For example, our Support team cannot see in your workspace unless you invite them explicitly. To see all the members of your workspace, go to Workspaces then Settings then Members.

Does Parrot AI comply with data and system security standards?

Yes, we are committed to complying with GDPR, HIPAA and CCPA regulations. We are also SOC2 Type II certified, ensuring that our security policies and controls continuously meet the highest industry standards.

How does Parrot AI use my data?

Your data is encrypted and private following our standard data protection practices.

Parrot AI will not use your data to train our models. Data in your account, however, may be securely shared with our sub-processors in order to provide you with the Parrot AI features. But we do not allow them or any 3rd parties to use your data for training their models, marketing, advertising or any other purpose.
