Stop and Discard a Recording
With our new discard feature, you can simply click a button to stop the Parrot from recording, remove it from your meeting, and immediately erase the recording so it doesn’t even get uploaded, ensuring that sensitive information is not collected or stored anywhere.
How to Discard a recording:
From the ongoing meeting page, click the ‘Discard’ icon (trash can)
Parrot will stop recording, leave the meeting, and won’t upload any recording or make it accessible to any participants. Whether you accidentally started recording or, perhaps based on what’s being discussed, prefer to not keep any record of the meeting, this feature guarantees peace of mind for all participants.
Important note! This action cannot be undone. Once a recording has been discarded, it’s gone forever and can’t be recovered.
